General/ Daily:

• Blog (daily)
• Add events/venues to the website
• Keep office organized/tidy
• Answer phones
• Collect business cards in your daily activities
• Collect contact/business cards from employees for company database
• Manage Intern & Sapient Studios Facebook pages
• Add friends daily to build our e-vite reach
• Post event flyers, comments, etc (event interns)
• Post blogs, updates, bulletins daily (editorial interns)

Sales:

• Events (marketing interns)
• Pick up trade
• Client / Sponsor / Prospect Research
• This facilitates the Sales Team by preparing them with information before they make a first call
• Cold Call: Be sure to get the name of the person who handles marketing for the company.
• Search for new businesses that fit into the Sapient Studios and Partners image(s)
• Shadow Sales Calls and Consultations
  
• Find out who used to be a client or sponsor of Sapient Studios and why they may not be now
• Start / Finish Sales Proposals

Editing & Distribution:

• Photo and/or Video Editing

The Violet Hour Fashion Show - An Ode to Summer Style by Michele Gates

The models gracefully walked down the runway and did an interactive turn at the top of the catwalk, displaying the clothes elegantly. The best part was that fashion photographer Damien Miller did a photo shoot of all the models right afterwards in front of everyone. This gave people a glimpse of what a fashion shoot editorial looks like and allowed people the additional opportunity to see the movement of the clothing on the model. The models also socialized with the people at the event, allowing people to see detailing of the garments and of the hats, which are not so easily noticeable at a distance from the runway. Wow, I can't believe its been 2 years since I have first met Damien. He and I have worked together on more than one occasion and I am so excited for every chance I get to work with him. Whether its in his Studio in SoMa or somewhere in the SF Scene, Damien is all over the place looking for that perfect shot. He has been a pleasure to work with everytime.

If you have the opportunity to shoot in the studio Cross your finger Moira is around. She is a doll that loves to help out. She is super friendly and always willing to share the Pop Chip :-)
